This short documentary featured on Youtube was brilliantly shot, cut up into 4 short chapters. The content of each, what was captured and how it was captured; reflect the title perfectly and few documentaries I’ve seen have been done so beautifully. It puts you in the mind perfectly of the Crane Drivers and what they see, feel and hear each day. It has a humorous slant to it which is something essential when working on a building site. It doesn’t focus on the downside of the solitude, but makes light of the situation, almost making the audience desire to have that time by themselves where they can clear their thoughts and have a moments peace, actually having the chance to daydream. Capturing peace in the city of London is nigh on impossible, but the documenter managed to capture it perfectly 300ft above the city. It also revealed to me what a good platform Youtube is for young documenters.
